skybarn:

At ten weeks, my son was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare and life threatening liver condition. He is now almost 4 and is on the liver transplant list.
I am eternally grateful for Barack Obama’s advocacy of Health Care Reform, which means that he will not meet his life time cap before kindergarten, be rejected for a pre-existing condition that most likely existed before he did and can stay on our insurance until he is 26. He can’t afford those post-college, trying to find a job years.
I also live in fear that it will be taken away. We as a family, and a country, cannot afford it. Financially, or morally.
